About Erin ONeill

Erin ONeill began working in watercolor and ballpoint pen at the age of 17 and continued perfecting her technique over the following decades.

Erin’s work revolves around confronting personal grief and generational trauma through the lens of her inner child. Her subjects often exist on a white or sparse plane, removing a sense of place or time. Instead her focus is identifying moments of transcendence in the expression of her subjects.

Erin Elizabeth ONeill (b. 1983, St. Louis Missouri) lives and works in Chicago. ONeill received her BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute in 2008 for Painting and Drawing. Her work reflects a deep love of figurative symbolist art.
